Was in Ella's Deli near TU today having a Cuban Sandwich and they had a notice on the table that they are moving in November.

The new place will be called Ella's Good Food and they will be relocating to Ranch Acres Plaza 30th and Harvard.

Will start out being open for lunch only as they are now but will eventually be open for dinner too.

Darn. One less place within reasonable walking distance for me. Sad

I am happy for them.  I think the move will help them become the restaurant they want to be.

I drove by Ella's today and they have opened for business.

I did not stop to check them out, did not have time.

Has anybody been in there?

I'll make a point to get by there next week.

I love Ella's.  Wish they were downtown, actually.

Well, Ella's Good Food is actually not open for business yet.  Sad
Fun with City and Health Dept. issues and final fine tuning before we do open. We are thinking sometime early December, hopefully. You can friend us on the facebook to keep up with when we will officially open under Ella'sGoodFood
3023 South Harvard Ave. in the Ranch Plaza center. The same center as My Thai.
Same great menu as the old Ella's, plus true from scratch cooking (of course) homestyle and other delights. We will be open for Lunch and Dinner in the eves.

It was either 15th street, Downtown, or Mid-town, and felt that Midtown, and us being old school for the most part was a great fit. We are very easy to get to from Downtown though.
We went from 1100sq ft. to just about 3000 sq ft. with a stage which will be fun for local jazz folks to play, and who knows what else.
We are very excited to open and offer up some really Good Food.
By the way...Our "Ella" Fitzgerald" is our Bassett Hound.
Forrest and Karen Camp are the owners of Ella's Good Food.

Sorry to hear that, it looked like it was open when I drove by there.

Anyway, looking forward to your opening once you get the bureaucrats satisfied.  (been there done that)
