Regardless of that this is our National Bird, these are beautiful creature and protected by law.  Maybe a way to find who shot it is possible.

Here hoping this Bald Eagle survives.  Kudos go to those who donate their time to such endeavors (rescuing animals of any type).

We have a family of Bald Eagles that lives just off the river area at 121st and Yale.  We see them hunting all the time, and last spring they had a new little eagle that they were teaching.  Very cute!  Not sure where their roost is, but they can be found there quite often.

They are a magnificent bird.  We saw a couple out in Colorado last month and you can see them out near the the Keystone Dam.

I've seen these guys several times while on riverside around 71st and south.  Never seen the little en though
