Is the seat on the left side of each section seat # 1?

Yes, if you look at each section from the event floor.  From the concourse it would be on the right.

 Huh

OK, so say you're in section 305 with seat numbers 6 - 13...which is closest to center?

Might depend where in 305.  That section, like all, tapers from the bottom up.  So you might be further right it row A, but in the center in row T.

Thirteen more days!

I'm getting questions from people who are coming from out of town for this concert.  They are asking about places to eat and drink downtown.  Other than the usual suspects (El Guapo, McNellies, Yo Momma's, Spaghetti Warehouse etc.) what are the best suggestions?

I'm going to post this question on the event board as well.

Thanks!

Well, it's a hard days night and the BOK put up some more ducats....looks like it did not quite sell out.

Should be a classic.

Was out having wings and beer with some of the guys from the crew last night.  Seems he is a pretty good guy, with the exception of torturing his crew by forcing them to be vegitarians while on tour (hense why they were sneaking off for wings).  Hope all you folks have fun tonight.

It's Paul McCartney Day in Oklahoma!

http://www.kjrh.com/news/local/story/Monday-is-Sir -Paul-McCartney-Day-in-Oklahoma/Mu2l6pSM-UqE1naOvd J2yg.cspx

Paul McCartney, who will be in Tulsa as part of the BOK Center’s one-year anniversary, will receive an official proclamation from Governor Brad Henry declaring August 17 as Sir Paul McCartney Day in the state of Oklahoma.

“Whereas, Paul McCartney is a genuine living legend, among the most successful recording artists in history of popular music, as his enormous contributions to music through The Beatles, Wings and his solo career have been justly celebrated worldwide” is stated in an excerpt of the proclamation.

Best concert I have ever been too.

Definitely up there in my book. Great tributes to Linda, John and George (surprisingly no shout outs to Heather Mills). The guy is truly an unbelievable entertainer who still has the instrumental and vocal chops.

Note to guy sitting near me that apparently took a bath in Polo, no one was impressed.
