The 88-year-old news legend is against dirty words and tobacco. Sex, liquor, and the Grateful Dead are fine.

Walter Cronkite was a great journalist, which seems to be a dieing breed these days.

Anybody see 60 Minutes? Best one hour remembrance of a part of life before the internet when the news was fair and balanced. The history he reported made him the most trusted man in America. A title no man will ever hold again.

The guy was such a kid at heart. He was a careful drinker. Walter too was a friend of the devil.

"He was for good." Mickey Hart
