Is a must go.

Spun off from 1st Watch (near City of Faith) they have the same menu items (but named differently to protect the guilty) and a lot of the same wait staff.

1st Watch and Broken Egg have really spoiled us.  Going to Denny's, I-Hop, Village Inn, or any of the local greasy spoons just isn't the same.

Isn't that the old Johnny's, just east of Ted's Escondido?  Used to eat at that Johnny's at least twice a month and have now taken a liking to Ted's.

Yup, it used to be Johnny's.

Which leads to a question.  The few times we've been to the Broken Egg, the line is out the door (and is almost always crowded @ 1st Watch as well).  I really think Broken Egg shot themselves in the foot w/ moving in to such a small restaurant.

Then again, they may have plans for expansion, sorta like how Compadre's in Owasso expanded the old Slotzhkis (spelling?) they overtook.
