I will be in the McNellie's/Arnies area around 2 to 2:30 this afternoon and Kilkenny's later on.  Anyone else going to play hookie this afternoon?  I'll be easy to find, I'm wearing green.  I had thought about wearing a button that say's "Kiss my donkey, I'm British" but I was advised that probably might not be a good idea in a crowd of Irishmen  Grin

I'll be down there also, probably by 2:00.  It really is better to go early and leave early.  I've got friends down there already saving spots.

This made me think of a sign that used to hang in the Bull and Bear

"He is not drunk who from the Floor
Can rise again and drink some more.

He is drunk who prostrate lies
and cannot drink and cannot rise".

A major HISS BOOO to McNellie's for their beer price gouging!

On any typical night, you order a beer that comes in a pint glass and it costs about $5.50, depending on the beer.

Go down there on St. Patrick's Day and the beer costs the same, but comes in a Miller Light plastic dixie cup sized glass.  What a rip off!

May make me go someplace else next year.
