From the Edmond Sun Newspaper October 2008 regarding Conn's Appliance Store expansion.

"Future expansion plans include a new store opening in Oklahoma City before Thanksgiving and possibly more later on in the Tulsa, Moore and Norman areas."

Has anyone heard if Conn's has picked locations in the Tulsa area yet?

Are you serious???

Doesn't sound like great timing to me, maybe the folks at Conn's haven't heard big box stores are struggling.

Taking into account all the pluses and minuses - from traffic flow degradation, to tax revenue vs cost to get that revenue, to water runoff requirements, that whole field would probably been better off left as the horse pasture place where family members used to board horses.
