The deadline for small area nominations were extended to today, Dec 4.  There's still time to submit one in if you want to.

Also, the first 2 small area workshops have been announced for areas in north and east Tulsa.  They will take place on Tues, Dec 9.  Registration at 5:30 and workshop from 6-9 PM.

The north Tulsa workshop will be held at Booker T. Washington HS. The east Tulsa workshop will be held at East Central HS.

The first two areas (workshops tonight!) are in north Tulsa (centered on Apache between Peoria and Lewis), and in east Tulsa (vicinity of 21st and 145th).

There were approx 25 other small area nominations submitted (with a lot of "redundancies"...different people basically nominating the same area).  Taking into account the redundancies, there were about a dozen unique areas for consideration, in various areas of town.

The nominations will be reviewed within the next few weeks, and I believe 5 sites will be chosen for small area workshops (that will take place in Jan & Feb).

There will be one additional workshop focused on transportation and related development / infrastructure. (Taking place in late Feb.)  All types of transportation will be considered: cars, bikes, pedestrians, rail, freight, you name it...
