Surprised there's been no talk about Utica Sq's sale on here. Already seems like it will be an improvement.

https://www.newson6.com/tulsa-oklahoma-news/tulsas-utica-square-announces-redevelopment-plans

Northwood Retail, the property's new owner, said the approximately 25,000-square-foot project will focus on the eastern side of the center, where a block vacant for about a decade once housed Miss Jackson's and Petty's Fine Foods.

Planned improvements include a new park and green gathering space, widened and realigned pedestrian crosswalks, additional angled parking, updated landscaping, refreshed signage, and paver sidewalks intended to improve connectivity throughout the property.

Quote from: SXSW on April 25, 2025, 10:32:02 AMThey are finally rebuilding the Burnco building and also an adjacent building on the parking lot to the north (next to the ice cream shop).  Targeting retail/restaurant tenants, I've heard wine/tapas bar for sure.

The 18th and Boston area is really turning into something. Starting to have some real nice density.

American Solera announced they're building a location at that old gas station on 18th and Cincinnati.

Dante's Pizza is taking over the old Solera building on 18th

As sad as Burnco's fire was.. they did a tremendous job with the replacement. There's some additional work on some buildings further north on Boston as well. More office/retail spaces as I can tell.

They are getting to work on this - you're right Dan, it's a massive footprint. Any ideas on if this will have any storefronts?

Oklahoma City University has been selected as the site of the Olympic Village for Softball and Canoe Slalom estimated 170 participants.  OKC will be hosting Softball and Canoe Slalom for LA28 games where officials anticipate a lot of guests to our city and many of the downtown hotels like the 605 room Omni and the 404 room OKANA resort will reap the benefits.

The Brookside Baptist property has sold to Armstrong Bank. I know they're building a branch but not sure if it will be a larger development or not. Working on finding out.
