You will receive a check for $300 dollars or more. The casino’s will cash them and take care of the cash for you. The oil companies over night can help you spend it. Course you can buy some of those electronics made with near slave labor from China or other producers of the Mid-East much cheaper today than in the past.. You can buy those cheap computers, recorders and auto’s in order to help their economy up and increase our balance of payments. Or how about just indorsing the checks and sending them to the world bank and let them distribute it among our debtors. Note: the scrap iron that is collected for recycling reached $80 dollars a ton. China forming it into bar stock a month ago delivered it at $840.00 a ton. Today it is quoted at $1160.00 per ton. We closed our mills a few years back but the 38% inflation in 30 days in in no way a run-away-inflation. And Shadows, when the price of one item goes up rampantly it is not called "inflation." Not to say it doesn't remain a concern for me (and the Fed), but the price of a given commodity is not purely indicative of inflation. I was under the impression that the DJ average is based on 30 blue, blue, blue, chip stocks and does not reflect those stocks that are traded at a great loss. GE is the only original company of the starting 12 to remain on the average. but the DJIA nor the SP500 are not measures of inflation. Nor of commodity prices.
