Title: Early morning breakfast
Post by: sgrizzle on February 04, 2008, 12:40:30 pm
Is there any places open for breakfast regularly early in the morning (before 7am) other than McDonalds?

Neat, I could be the only person at Village inn at 6am who doesn't get the senior discount.

And I'll be the only person in your kitchen at 6am.

Place my wife and I go to every Saturday morning is the Apple Barrel in Bixby. It is a little ma and pa restaurant just South of the Quiktrip on Memorial on the East side. Great prices, great food and very homey atmosphere. You will not be sorry.

Noodlez is that the restaurant that has live country and western bands? Going to have to try the breakfast there sounds great. Then we will have two to patronize.

Give Abe's a try sometime.

I won't be attending. But has anyone tried the new place in The Rectrum Center at 69th and Lewis where Rib Crib vacated?

First of all its PhilL's.  The second "L" seems to be important to him.

My favorite place in is the Savoy at 61 and Sheridan.  They are famous for their cinnamon rolls but everything there is very good.

They have a regular clientele to prove it.

On some days, you might just catch many of the well intended who made this town at the Savoy sitting around playing liars poker.....

I have driven by BBD around 6am and it looked pretty dark.

And a live over 5 miles south of 21st so my radar works fine down here.

Sgrizzle: "And a live over 5 miles south of 21st so my radar works fine down here."

My mistake. I misinterpreted what you meant in another thread regarding the monthly get together when you asked another poster to "pick the place, as long as it is north of 21st and you show up.."

I said that because inteller's compass doesn't reach north of 21st.

Gotcha.
I think I have that problem too (except when I have to go to court). Based on what I read earlier from Inteller, I live further south.

I am not sure that it's open before 7 but First Watch is really good. Around the 81st and Lewis area.

I used to eat at them all of the time in Ohio. I have never had a  bad meal from there.

Sleep is so over-rated.

You mortals can miss all that time where I am being productive.

We had breakfast at the western this morning and was very impressed. Friendly waitresses, good food and very reasonable prices. I had two eggs, toast, hash browns and two grilled pork chops for under seven dollars. Would highly recommend it. And, there are cheaper breakfasts on the menu.

Western is good. Try the little place at 11th and Peoria. Crosstown Diner I think...Its humbling but the food was good last time I went.
