Last year, attendance exceeded our expectations and demonstrated the significance of this historical celebration returning to the African-American community on Greenwood Ave. This celebration takes place in the Heart of the Historic Greenwood District and throughout the IDL, Tulsa Juneteenth Celebration will take place June 13 - 16, 2019. The Board of Directors’ goal is to create a multi-arts experience that recognizes and celebrates the rich heritage of Juneteenth. In celebration and honor of Juneteenth, Tulsa Juneteenth, Inc, is implementing a weekend of entertainment that includes a celebration of music with nationally-acclaimed artists, Open Mic, Visual Art, educational workshops, performances by local artists and an exclusive VIP Sponsor Party. This celebration is a community driven event that brings together people from all over Tulsa, making this an event for all wanting to celebrate or learn.
