Title: Lee Woodward passes
Post by: Hoss on June 20, 2017, 07:01:48 pm
Those of you of a certain age will remember Lee and Lionel on KOTV.  Lee did the weather with his famous puppet Lionel for years, retiring in 1982 I believe (I would have been 15).

He was 85.

He had a brother who was also in show business; for those who remember the original Star Trek

He was a very funny guy.  My wife and I ran into Gailard Sartain many years ago at the Polo Grill and he told us about just buying a "Big Boss Ride" from his friend Lee Woodward who was working at a Ford dealership way out on south Memorial.

That's too bad.  I always liked him and Don Woods.
