Title: Historical Midland Valley Trail / Railroad pictures
Post by: Patrick on April 21, 2017, 03:23:32 pm
Does anyone know of any historical pictures of the trail behind the Gather Place when it was operated as a rail line?  Thinking of an actual train on the rails.  Alternatively, if anyone knows of any pictures from the 1920s of the surrounding neighborhood, I could look there.  I've checked out the Beryl Ford collection but so far no luck.

Note the Route 66 sign to the lower right of the photo facing toward traffic coming from the north.

Not exactly on point, but still cool:

KO&G NW2 1001 is seen crossing the Arkansas River with a string of high-level passenger cars.
