Title: Archangel Ken
Post by: sgrizzle on December 30, 2014, 08:08:13 pm
So took the kids through Rhema lights today (daughter had the flu last week, our Christmas is on tape delay)

Daughter was real interested in looking for the star and angel above the nativity. (located along the back road of Rhema)

Not directly above, but close to the nativity, is a very tall pole with an extremely bright star on it. Probably brightest light in the whole display. We told her this was obviously the nativity star. We noticed there was something below it and said that must be the angel. She wanted a closer look so we took a second pass and discovered that the display below the star was not the typical image of an angel, in fact it was the head and shoulders of Ken Hagin 30 feet in the air.

While I know they really liked their former pastor/leader, I found this a very odd location for his head to be, and lead to a long laughing explanation about the lesser-known angel "Ken."
