Title: Christmas Even Dinner??
Post by: tulsa_fan on December 22, 2014, 05:33:24 pm
I see the article from TW on what's open Christmas Day, but what about Christmas Eve?  Hubby has to work and I thought the kids and I would try to have dinner with him somewhere.  I wasn't sure if things are open as normal on Eve or not??  I can't seem to find anything.

I love the Daily Grill. Order the pot pie. It comes out of the oven with a light puffy crust that makes the dish the size of a hubcap.

I never even knew this place existed, yet you've been there. You are WAY more tuned in than me. On a related note, I would think big hotels with dining rooms would be open to serve their guests.

We're going to McGills at 61st and Yale like we did last year.  It was good.  I'm sure the midtown McGill's is also open Christmas Eve.

Just a hub cap, not a full wheel cover?

I like the food and the patio area. If I had free time, I'd be tempted to hang out there on a regular basis.

If I had free time,

How much does your time cost?

I went to the Daily Grill this morning for breakfast. Ordered the chicken and waffles on the waiters recommendation. The waffle was way overcooked and the chicken was burnt. The good news is the eggs and bacon were perfect. $3.50 is a bit steep for a cup of coffee.
