Title: Corporate State Products
Post by: DolfanBob on June 26, 2013, 09:40:45 am
Do you agree with this map of the U.S. and the product selection for each State? Is Sonic the best choice for Oklahoma?

More-so than most of the other states

QuikTrip, Mazzio's and Braums could be runners-up

Conoco/Phillips.

Any map that ignores the power of big oil and/or banks is delusional.

Both are headquartered in Houston.

Texas is one of the states I think is way off.
Do people really think "Texas, that's where they make Dr Pepper"??

The map isn't about power, but what the common folk associate with each state.

They are now.  Phillips 66 is still kind of an icon, pulling together Bartlesville, Route 66, and Oklahoma.  For older people, anyway.  Anyone under 40 or so probably wouldn't appreciate it....
