I bet I have gotten 7 different offers for tickets...no where close to a sell out....

Tell that to the sellout crowd who went and saw Kid Rock last week...

sell out? Huh? I don't think so....

when they take it down to the lower level, it's no sell out.

On December 3, 1979,  18,348 fans went to see The Who.

11 fans went to see Keith Moon.

Clown – nice try at being provocative, but one show not selling out hardly means much.  I'm going, but given that The Who is playing the entire Quadrophenia album straight through (a double record), this takes much of the luster off of it for me.  The BOK line-up for the Spring and Summer is pretty full.

No real surprise, they aren't the act they were 30 years ago when I last saw them and certainly nowhere close to the show they were when Moonie was still alive, now with The Ox gone, it's not real compelling.  Especially if their Super Bowl appearance a few years back was any indication.

Or maybe it's simply that I'm middle age now and they are senior citizens.  I hope it's a great show for those who are going though.

I've been busted baiting forumers by DT.

They do Quadropheliac because the vocals are mid range.

Tommy, can you hear me?

Reports I got said the upper bowl was nearly full.  Pictures I saw bore that out also.

Keep tryin'.

Now, go make me a bicycle, clown.

Meh.  ::) I never was a big fan. I place them in the same category as The Beatles and The Doors.

Beatles:  which decade?

The Doors:  I disagree...at least if you're in a bar.

Unbelievable show. Pete Townsend owned the place. I have seen the greatest guitarists and love them all, but Pete just puts on a wonderful show. Roger Daltry is truly the image and persona of a rock star.

Great to hear they still have it.  How long did they play?

The Who played a little over 2 hours.  Perhaps its "My Generation", but I did not enjoy the long middle of the Quadrophenia set as much as many of those around me who were of an older age range.  Once that was done, however, the last 30 minutes were great.

That was very unique. Most concerts are a miz of new stuff and old hits. This was the entire Quadrophenia rock opera in order, then followed by their biggest hits.

The Quadrophenia stuff did a great job at looking back at the history of the band and the times, including video tributes to late drummer and bass player. I can see how if you were not a big fan of the album it would be odd and different.

I think the last half hour was as good as I have ever seen in concert.

The Who was a tremendous show. As someone said the upper bowl was nearly full from what I could tell. We were in the lower bowl, right side of the stage about 3 sections back. Section 110 if I remember correctly.

We were also at the Kid Rock show and if it wasn't a sell out then it was damn close. I couldn't see an empty seat anywhere. We were in section 121 and everywhere I looked was packed.
