Post by: AngieB on January 16, 2013, 07:43:33 am I looked this up and it shows Chimera as being at 212 N. Main. That is the address for Miller Photography. I am confused...Scott Miller has been in that space forever. Is Chimera just taking up the front half of the building? ???

There's still a sign/door there for Miller that leads down a hall to the back (or something like that) Title: Re: Chimera? Question will be how many coffee shops can the downtown/near downtown area support? Topea - 2x Joebots Coffee Hodges Bend Doubleshot Phoenix Cafe Chimera The Einstein that opens this summer will serve coffee. Am I missing one? Title: Re: Chimera? Title: Re: Chimera? Post by: rdj on January 25, 2013, 08:52:49 am Also missing Gypsy, plus various small places within downtown office towers. Is there still a Illy cafe in the Williams/BOk Tower? Does the Atlas Courtyard have a Starbucks still or is that just drip coffee now? If they don't have an espresso machine I don't consider them a coffee shop... I guess that probably makes me a bit of a coffee snob. So, at least nine (maybe ten or eleven) full service coffee shops downtown? Title: Re: Chimera? Post by: TheTed on March 18, 2013, 11:38:25 am Tried to get a sandwich Sunday mid-afternoon. Was told "we're no longer serving food."
I was in a hurry (even moreso after having to make a second stop for a sandwich) so I didn't get clarification on what they meant. But it was well within their listed food service hours. It was the middle of the day. It's a moot point for me, because places that jerk around with hours and otherwise waste my time with unpredictability are of little value to me. Title: Re: Chimera? I read the above post as "no longer serving food, ever, / now just a coffee shop" I haven't been back since opening week, but they appear to have expanded their menu. And serve it whenever they feel like it? :) Title: Re: Chimera? Post by: TheTed on June 04, 2013, 12:47:31 am The above might warrant some clarification.. Thanks. I didn't seek any clarification at the time, and none was offered.I read the above post as "no longer serving food, ever, / now just a coffee shop" I haven't been back since opening week, but they appear to have expanded their menu. And serve it whenever they feel like it? :) As seems to happen to me nearly weekly, some place couldn't serve me food at an hour in which they claimed they would be serving food. So I left and found a place that could complete the business-customer relationship in a reasonable fashion. Title: Re: Chimera? Alley is much better. Title: Re: Chimera? Post by: jacobi on December 14, 2013, 09:10:04 pm There is something morally offensive about fauxrizo. That said, I will drink there. I've got more than one friend that works there. Nice space.
