Used to be back when the hockey games got started back up for at least three seasons, even weeknight game tickets were difficult to get. Back when there was a competitive team here. Tulsa is a fickled town. There aren't that many true sports fans. They are mainly fair-weather friends as far as sports are concerned. They'll go watch a team win, but few are fans enough to show up even when the team is down. There are a lot of people that go to games as a social outing, to be seen. I must have a beer in my hands at all sporting events. If I can't justify the cost of tickets, parking, beer, assorted foods, then I don't go. I've not been in at least 5 years. I show up early so parking is free for me.I rarely eat at a game, if I can help it. The food is beyond pricey. |
