I wish you could rent him out for parties.  He could really build quite an industry around himself.

Sweet Baby Jesus!

Synopsis from IMDB
Quote
ad feedbackThe story of Frank P. DeLarzelere III aka Biker Fox, Tulsa, Oklahoma's misunderstood motivational bicyclist, nature conservationist and muscle car guru. Part-documentary and part-self-help testimonial, the film navigates the uneasy relationships DeLarzelere has with both the city of Tulsa and himself, as his Biker Fox character's intentions of spirited goodwill sometimes neglect certain boundaries. Written by Anonymous
He must have entered the synopsis himself.  After all, who else would actually know his name is actually Frank P. DeLarzelere III?

I like the "spirited good will" part.  My wife and I just usually get the finger when he darts out in front of us.

I do fondly remember one time eating chili fries on the patio at the brook, when he, riding down the median on Peoria, did a front wheely and landed on his shiny little head.

Eh no.  Not the skullet anyhow.

And after watching the trailer, I could never do enough acid to make me that bucking bizarre.

If he came into my house in the middle of the night to "Kick Your Donkey" he'd be leaving in a body bag.

Words can't ever do that justice.

I'm really going to have to show that to my wife when she gets home, and she's going to be really pissed at me for showing it to her. It's totally worth it too.

I may really have to see this movie. Not sober of course, but I may have to see it.

When does the Paul Tay movie come out?

Then the inevitable sequel, Bikerfox vs Tay and the Inflatable Penis of Doom

Who needs acid to get there... thirty minutes of Rupert Murdoch will accomplish the same thing.  Can't you see the resemblance to Karl Rove?  Well, except for the extra poundage on Rove.  That jumped out at first glance!

Kind of a little Dick Cheney lurking in the background.  But Dick has given up on the hair thing...

Could this be the exposure of alien abductions??  BikerFox, Cheney, Rove??  All from the same alien 'mutha'???

Looks like proof of cover up, if you ask me...

You have a strange obsession with Murdoch and the Neo-Cons.  Does this only happen when you are drunk at 3:30 am or when you are lucid too?

Gotta love the Murdoch floating in the air today!

Pot = kettle

I'm not usually one to engage people who invoke "BabyBush" and "DaddyBush" in disrespectful tones, nor those who have weird obsessions with Murdoch, Cheney, Rove, etc.

How about the one's who ranted and raved over Clinton?  Or the current ranting and raving over Obama?

Now Newt is speculating about running for President.  Wow, like there is not enough hypocritical lying going on from him for about 3 lifetimes worth...

You remember Newt?  The one leading the charge to impeach Billy Bob over a sex thing.  When he and his current  concubine were deep in the throes of a 10 year torrid affair!

Upon careful consideration, my answer to the question posed in the thread title is an emphatic no. I am not now and will never be ready to see a film about Biker Fox.

Me neither.  Looks too freaky.

Would rather see a movie about something more sane like Hannibal Lecter or Charlie Manson.

only some of the a******s on this board could turn a thread about biker fox into a political argument.  And you wonder why everyone hates politics!!

I believe this movie has been in production for quite some time.  2-3yrs ago he was calling around the diff rental car companies looking for a corvette to rent for a few months why he was shooting a movie.  I have no idea if this is the actual movie or not, but how many can this guy make?!

Title: Re: Ya'all ready for this?
Post by: heironymouspasparagus on July 13, 2010, 10:33:22 pm
Kind of seems to me like Biker Fox is trying hard to turn himself into a political discussion.  Maybe I have misunderstood his direction.  Alternatively, I guess it could also just be going for the attention.

Shall we hope he can't make that many movies??

I love bicycling, but on the surface - the very light information I see about him - he seems to be kind of a dipstick.  Perhaps his message is being lost with the force with which he delivers same?

the vibe or understanding I have got from him over the years is this....he used to be overweight and took to cycling to try and lose that weight.  Once he lost that weight, (and this is my perception) he turned into something of a cult icon amongst the teenagers in Tulsa by looking goofy, doing goofy things and just being himself.  This in turn gave him somewhat a big head and now he thinks he owns the roads and when someone disrespects him he flips them off and gets the cops called.

Now I may be wrong, but again, this is my perception of him over the years.  Also mind you, he was the laughing stock of all of St Francis years ago, all the nurses would huddle around computers and look at his webpage with all the pictures of him with jenks and union cheerleaders and just laugh.  Not with the guy, but most certainly at him.  He also made a lot of enemies with those pictures, because they are quite creepy and disturbing.  I have no idea if they are still on there, and I am not going to take the time to look, but IMO he is one WEIRD DUDE!

No doubt.  That's my impression too.
That's why I would prefer Lecter or Manson.  At least you know exactly what is on their mind - no ambiguities.

I know of no one in the cycling community who thinks Biker Fox or Paul Tay are good ambassadors.  They portray the absolute worst possible image for cyclists.  My GF and I had the misfortune to pass him twice on the trails one day, he howled like a wolf both times.  Still not sure if he was howling at her or me...Ghack!

Interesting to note though that I ran into him one night at Red Rock Canyon Grill when he was "out of costume" and he seemed perfectly normal and actually a bit introverted if you can believe that.

Kinda off topic, but maybe not so much as it relates to personalities in movies...

Anyone remember this dude?  You should have QT loaded for this to play, but John Galusha did a movie on this guy he called the Yelling Man who was essentially a homeless man downtown...well, you can figure out what he did...

Not who I thought it was.  When I worked at 5th & Boulder around 20 years ago, there used to be a man with white hair who drove around in an old blue Mustang II with a signboard on it denouncing one of the investment companies and he would walk around downtown at noon time with a sandwich board denouncing the investment company. I can only guess his retirement account went in the tank and that was his only percieved recourse I think it was Smith Barney he was protesting.

Smith Barney was one of the most crooked around back then.  I didn't have a Mustang, but certainly would have carried a sandwich board with him if I had known about it.
