Their facebook page, short on actual information, makes it appear they're now open.

As for hours, who knows? Is there anything more worthless than saying a business is open until "close"?

fat guys is on greenwood ave, at the new ballpark entrance, i know they will open everyday at 11 and stay openlate on drillers game nights.i went earlier this week and had a tasty double meat burger with blue cheese and a tea for just over $8, a good value.  4-5 flat panel tv's to watch games, tap beer ( i saw a guiness and blvd tap handle) an ice cream dipper well and some other menu options besides burgers.

Just got back from Fat Guy's and it is very very tasty, had the double bacon cheeseburger and it was great. They have quite a few toppings for you to add to your burger, I personally got some jalapenos grill into my burger. Fries were awesome as well and they had ~10 dipping sauces to choose from to go along with your fries. Owner also told me they are going to have a "Challenge" item and he showed me a burger bun roughly the size of a large dinner plate... :o. Overall great place with a real cool feel, should be great on game nights and really any summer night with the patio seating. I'm pretty crap at reviews...just suffice it to say I'll be back.

Great little place.  Very comfortable.

The dinner challenge will be to eat the burger on that huge bun and fries in an hour.

You get it free, a tshirt, and your drawn portrait in a place of fat honor.  Or you pay $34 I believe is what he said.

They have two Marshall's on tap...Eric, you really need to rename it "Marshall's Pub Ale" or we're never getting it carried any other places in this town.

Guinness in it's own box at about 40F.  Stephanie, the bartender was smilie.

20oz pours and the prices are very reasonable.

They've got ice cream in the counter and offer fresh made shakes for the kids.

Today they'll be setting up 3 more beer bars outside in the big breezeway.

Both partners were there talking up the customers.

If more places like that open in the area, Greenwood will be a favorite spot for me.

Sounds like my kind of place. Do they have a closing time? All I can find on here and on their website is 11am-???, which always ends up meaning "we close five minutes before you arrive."

We were told 10PM on normal nights but will stay open until 2am if business calls for it.

I hate their logo graphic.  The fat guy reminds me of a Scooby-Doo villain.

Tasty burgers and fries they have outdoor covered seating...perfect for warm rainy days ahead when you want a cold beer.  They have lots of dipping sauces and a crazy selection of burger condiments too, so it never has to be just a typical burger...

Went there for the third time the other night...had a bacon burger with jalapenos and pineapple, it was really good. I love that place. I also love the fact that new stuff is cropping up downtown.

This isn't right.  I've been working to improve my diet and lead a healthier lifestyle, but I have a weakness for burgers, especially good ones.  And what do you folks do?  Go and keep posting about burger places and saying how good they are.  It's making it really hard to stay on the health path.  Oh well, I guess a few more sit-ups won't be so bad.

Took a stroll around the area the other day while a game was on and went hunting for this place.  If I hadn't read bout it on here, I wouldn't have found it and I doubt that a good majority of the people at the ballpark wouldn't know it existed either unless they had to walk past it on Greenwood going to and from parking,,, if they parked around that area.

I thought it very unfortunate that they don't have any visible sign on the ballpark side.  They need to fix that or they are going to lose a LOT of potential business.  Great location on the one hand, but the potential will be wasted if nobody knows its there and arent easily reminded of it.

On a similar note, we ate at Joe Mommas and sat in front in the outside area.  It was great to see all the people walking by going to the ballpark.  It was also nice to see how they would walk by, see in,then look up at the sign to see what the place was and go "oh, its a pizza place!".  For many of them it appeared and sounded as though it was the first time they had ever seen the place.

On the other hand people would walk right by Dilly Deli and not even notice it.  The group I was with when we walked past, I had to point it out to them and even then we had to make an effort to see if it was open.  The signs in the window were the only clue. Peeking in through the darkened windows I saw what looked to be one lone waitress standing in the restaurant. Meanwhile, Joe Mommas was hopping. My friends said,,, I wouldn't have even noticed that Dilly Deli place if you hadn't said anything, and even then didn't realize it was open.

There are all kinds of signs on buildings downtown, most of which have nothing to do with restaurants or retail establishments and such, even on buildings that dont currently have anything in them.  I doubt most people pay any attention unless they are searching for a particular thing and will thus likely not take notice of everything else. If you dont look open and "alive" your pretty much only going to get those who know your there for some other reason.  Your not going to get those just passing by who dont already know about you.

Lees Bicycle, though it has a different crowd and people are likely to go to it specifically, also has a "visibility/getting noticed/is it open" problem imo.

I really want to see these businesses do well, but some of them are missing some VERY basic advertising and getting noticed strategies.

I had a burger on Saturday and it was delicious as was the other two times I've been there. I'm feeling guilty because I'm pretty sure I've forsaken Claud's and Hank's for this place. Here's the shocker. My vegetarian fiance had the veggie burger and said it was the best she's ever had! Outstanding. I hope they keep it going.

Ate there last night for the first time. Excellent double cheeseburger with grilled onions and pickles. Fries are outstanding as was the blueberry dipping sauce. Regular order of fries was plenty for myself...wife and small daughter.

Tattooed girl running the register could have a been a bit more enthusiastic and helpful for us first-timers...otherwise it was a great experience. Will definitely return.

Tried to go back friday, but didn't realize there was a game.  After almost getting in a fight with a guy wanting to charge me to park in the lot behind the building across the street (told me only the hair dresser customers could park for free), I decided I had gone too long without food and was too irritable to stand in the line so went to weber's instead.  I really need to get a schedule of the games so I know when to avoid the area.

Another good reason to improve our public transit.  Even if it has to be a bus.

Went to Fat Guys, spent 20 bucks..great service good fries but for some reason my burger had a 'funk" to it..my wife said her's was great but I am hesitant to go back because it just tasted weird like "old shoes"......anyone? I did get grilled onions on it so perhaps there was something in that.

I took my boys here a few weeks ago and we all LOVED it! I like the sauce selection. I need to be careful or it will take me 100lbs and 3 heart attacks to try them all ;o)

Signage was very poor. if you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there.
Once you're in front of it though, it is a super sweet set up both inside and out.

Ate at Fat Guys tonight & had a Fat & Juicy--two patties stuffed with butter & American or bleu cheese. I had American with lettuce, tomato, onion & pickles & my fiance had bleu with grilled mushrooms & onions. Both were thoroughly enjoyed & worthy of our last greasy meal for a while (we're doing the master cleanse later this week). We ordered large fries to split & they were huge. Forgot what I had read on here about the portions. Tried srirancha (sriracha & ranch) & jalapeno aioli for dipping--weren't totally crazy about either & just ended up using ketchup. Would like to try some of the other sauces when we return. Fat & Juicy is definitely recommended :)

I guess I'm on the Tulsa burger tour.   I ate at Fat Guys today.

It was a very good burger.  More than I could eat between the burger and fries.

A little pricey for an everyday lunch place, they could cut the amount and price of the fries in half and keep the lunch under $10 would help.   But I guess they don't need to do that.  I got there about 11:20, when I left 30 minutes later they were lining up out the door.

I will most likely be back and take Kelli my recruiter, she's a chow hound (skinny young blond) and watch her tear into one of their burgers.

I was in there after the lunch rush with my son.  He is probably one of the pickiest eaters I know, and he loved it.  But yeah, $20 for a lunch out for the two of us makes it a not so often thing.

Top That and Apple Barrel are each 3/4 decent?       A little generous don't you think?

If you want comfort food, try Shilohs.

Forgot Shiloh's. It was in Tulsa.

I think that is the last remaining "Top That" location in the area?

I liked the concept, too bad it didn't hold on, but moving into locations that Quizno's failed at might have been a bad move.

Shilohs has good rolls and that's about it.  I can open a can of beans, corn, and gravy at home....

Apple Barrel has pretty good breakfast and Sunday special is a turkey dinner!  Makes a good breakfast, too!  Yum!  They do that right....

Haven't been here yet, but Pie Five seems to be growing quickly.  One in Stillwater and one going to Moore.  Next time I get through Stillwater, will try it and let ya know.  They do the Top That thing, I am told....   Wonder if Top That got an idea from some one, or vice versa...?  TT sure changed quickly from what they started with, though.  And it wasn't an improvement...
