There is some good fried chicken in Tulsa, though. As mentioned, the Celebrity Club Restaurant at 31st & Yale does a really good pan-fried chicken. I also really like the fried chicken at Evelyn's, which is a great soul food restaurant near the airport, just a quarter mile south of the Air & Space Museum. Between those two, I can get by pretty well between AQ runs. Title: Re: Fried Chicken? Title: Re: Fried Chicken? Post by: Bat Bat on September 11, 2009, 07:19:16 pm I think that Hammet House in Claremore has some great chicken dishes such as Southern Fried Chicken, Chicken Fried Steak, etc... I usually go there for the lamb fries and turkey fries.
The place isn't much to look at, but it is nice short drive out of town and it is good food. I almost forgot to mention. They have incredible pies. |
