Title: World Take on Election
Post by: cannon_fodder on November 04, 2008, 09:00:56 am
Interesting takes around the world on the election, it still seems weird that our election draws international front page news.  I understand why, but it still seems odd.  Anyway:

Jerusalem Post (http://"http://www.jpost.com/")

London Times (http://"http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article5076321.ece")

St. Petersburgh Times (http://"http://www.sptimes.ru/")
(Interestingly enough, the only state run paper linked [all in Russia are now essentially state run] and it has the least coverage)

Duestche Welle (http://"http://www.dw-world.de/")

Kyodo (Tokyo) Japan (http://"http://home.kyodo.co.jp/")

Ireland (http://"http://www.ireland.com/")

Times of India (http://"http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/default1.cms")

U.S. Imperialists' Adventurous Scenario for Nuclear War Assailed (North Korea) (http://"http://www.kcna.co.jp/index-e.htm")
(I couldn't resist that headline)

Al Jazeera (http://"http://english.aljazeera.net/")

I thought you meant the Tulsa World.  I thought it was weird that they endorsed McCain and used the RNC talking points in doing so.
