They say "grassroots" but I see no grass amongst the board:

Neal McCaleb is a contemptuous POS. He screwed over his own people at the BIA.

I see a bunch of criminal cheap illegal labor advocates who want to repeal HB 1804 and pad their pockets while suckling off the government teet.
Even if their motives aren't pure, isn't restoring more funding to infrastructure a good cause?
Here's my thought: taxes that makes sense.
Why do vehicle tags go mostly to education?
Why is a portion of the gas tax used to subsidize ranchers?
Why is toll revenue building new roads when existing ones are falling apart?
Lets have livestock fees and associated taxes (I don't deal with livestock so am ignorant of the appropriate fees, but I'm sure the state gets its cut) fund ranches. Let property taxes fund schools as they always have (or even a portion of sales tax but...). While we have a shortage of funding for driving infrastructure why the hell not fund it with driving taxes: tolls, tags, excise tax, gas tax, licensing fees.
Makes sense to me.
It looks like all chiefs and no Indians, or an organization with its officers already set in concrete (yes, I know) desperately in search of a membership, grassroots or otherwise.
Besides, there are no cycling or pedestrian issues on their radar, and all of us use the roads, not just motorized vehicles.

If a group has trust in their name they should at least be trustworthy. I don't see a single name on there that I would trust to do anything other than look out for their own self-interest. The last thing I would expect that rogues gallery to do would be to look out for the best interest of the public.
