Why don't politicians just keep quiet?

Reminds me of Chris Rock's thoughts on the issue:
"Whenever Colin Powell is on the news, white people give him the same compliments: 'How do you feel about Colin Powell?', 'He speaks so well! He's so well spoken. I mean he really speaks so well!' Like that's a compliment. 'He speaks so well' is not a compliment, okay? 'He speaks so well' is some s**t you say about retarded people that can talk. What do you mean he speaks so well? He's a f******g educated man! How the **** you expect him to sound?'He speaks so well.' What are you talking about? What were you expecting to come out of his mouth? 'Imma drop me a bomb today', 'I be Pwez o dent!'." — Chris Rock
Damn thing timed out. What did it say?
Server is getting hammered.
Mr. Biden is equally skeptical—albeit in a slightly more backhanded way—about Mr. Obama. "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," he said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."
I am glad Biden is running. He will attract some of the partisan flak and his comments will make the other democrats sound like normal people.
Maybe that's what happened. He's playing scapegoat.
Nah. Biden's just a blabbermouth who thinks he's actually a viable candidate for president. [}:)]
Might be a case of a missing comma.

I was initially skeptical of this theory, but the more I think about it, it makes more sense.
(Not that I support Biden in any way.)
Shortest presidential campaign-Ever. No punctuation could repair that condescending and bigoted crap

This isn't the first time for Biden. He had that plagiarism thing way back when. His remark was ill advised at best. He'll be a good foil.
I like what I saw Nader say about Hillary Clinton at noon. He is not surprised that she is ahead. She has the name and the money. But, he said, the Democrats can do better. ouch.
How about this little gem from bigoted Biden
"In Delaware, the largest growth of population is Indian-Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7/11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking."

I'll lay it on the line and call it early, I predict Edwards will win the Oklahoma Democratic primary. Hillary and Barack will be lucky if they they break the top three spots in Oklahoma.
Apparently Obama is dropping like a stone in the polls.

I keeed, I keeeed...[;)]
I'm going for a final Edwards/Barack ticket in no particular order. I think the Bill Clinton by proxy ticket will lose its momentum as Hillary gets tough and then draws criticism for mistakes.
Edwards/Obama
vs
McCain/Lieberman
I think Huckabee might be a dark horse contender on the Republican ticket. An Edwards/Obama, Edwards/ Webb, or Edwards/Clark ticket would be fine by me.
Don't forget about me...

And now there's this from another Democrat:
