I saw them in Dallass in ’83 several years after Moonie was gone. I wish I could have seen the original line up, though they didn’t exactly suck when Kenny Jones was on the drums, just not the level of insanity ;) Title: Re: The Who? I'm more of a Neil Peart, Carmine Appice, Cozy Powell, Ainsley Dunbar kind of listener. When it comes to drummers. Just the Who's overall music didn't appeal to me. Never did get into the 50s and 60s Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Doo Whop, Doo Whop, type of sound. And yes I know with the bands like The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The sound changed with the numorous psychedelic additives of the time. But in my opinion. Zepp and Floyd was the best of those four in changing their sound. So yes, I was alive and young but still had good taste in music as I do today. I also was a D.J. at the Superfox 103.3 in the late 70s. Title: Re: The Who? I know kinda cheesy but what the heck. I was young and couldnt think of anything else.
