Why is it relevant this doosh was a contributor to GOP or Democrat causes for that matter?  The outrage should simply be that this a-hole traded on the backs of veterans to enrichen himself.

Funny, I didn't hear Bernie Madoff characterized as a large Democrat contributor when his ponzi scheme was exposed.  He contributed $50K to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and thousands more to Frank Lautenberg and Jeff Merkley.

Nice to know the media will be willing accomplices to more nasty partisan politics.  Dirty up the new speaker.  Check.  Same song, different outlets.

First of all, Madoff also contributed to republicans. Yes, 89% of his $102,000 in political contributions were to democrats.

Secondly, this man donated at least twice as much money to half as many republicans.

Third, his scam was using a phony veteran's group and it came out the day before Veteran's Day.

That is why it is on the news. That being said, only one media outlet has picked up the story so far. This is an exclusive story on ABC news.

Again, why is it which party some creep contributes to is relevant to the story?  It's not a relevant point, it's guilt by association so the Dims can start their next campaign against the GOP as being tight with greedy, crooked, wealthy people. I'm sure an editor at ABC got a huge woody when they figured out Boehner had received money from this guy.

I never once read a story about who Madoff was contributing to. I had to look it up. I wonder why that is?

Yeah is it that obvious? I figured my Repiglican-tinted glasses kept me from picking up on that ;)
