Ru$h gets Godwinned.  LOL!

I don't use any or much of his sponsors so a boycot really doesn't do much for me.

Those advertisers are not necessarily advertising on Limbaugh's program because they support him. His listeners are among their target audiences. It's demographics and research.

So, if Tulsa Now sponsors Limbaugh, then FOTD will boycott it?

Chances are the money you spend anywhere is going to pay an employee who either does things or supports things that you don't like or agree with.  What can you do  :-\

Companies lack morals of any kind for the most part. They look for sympathetic or fertile demographics. They would advertise on the Hitler Nazi Hour if the demographics were good.

However, they abhor bad pr. That erases any marketing gains from advertising on the likes of Beck et.al. The only way to get a message across to them and change their behavior is through such actions as boycotts. It isn't necessarily fair and it is often not even justified. They are like blind fish responding to stimuli.

Me personally? If I knew of a product being advertised specifically on a political program that I found repugnant, I would indeed find a replacement product. I also do it locally. Of course, the locals don't give a flip.

Headline should read "White House desperate to find a new straw man after DNC and supporters attacked concerned Americans as angry mobs".

Problem is, the Obama machine tried to demonize Rush back in January / February to shut him up and all that did was sell out his entire year in advertising and drive up ratings. Best thing for Obama is to ignore Rush and focus on regaining momentum after this collapse.

Ditto head: You are wrong. Advertisers are pulling their ads from this drug addict lying SOB. But nice try...
16 advertisers have now pulled out from Beck and still counting.

Hazzie, see any issue here?

Report finds surge in anti-government militia movement

"The anti-government militia movement is "surging" across the country, fueled by a changing demographic in the country, the spread of conspiracy theories in mainstream media outlets and fear of a black man in the White House, according to a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center."
