Does Jesus hate the other candidates?  I can only assume that she is holier than thou.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a scandal involving her trying to direct CDBG funds to her non-profit while she was a Councilor?

People who hated Mayor Taylor would REALLY hate this one as mayor.

This is the same woman who ran on "One woman, one man" as part of her county commission platform.  As if that had one whit to do with the job title.

Now wait, she didn't say anything about Jeebus working on her campaign, just his Dad.

Moderated by Virginia Jenner and it would be beyond epic.

I would love that!  It would be like that tv show "The Surreal Life."    All those other people would make Prophet Kelly Clark look normal.

No, it was privately funded.  She started this organization called District Four Recycling, using Swan Lake NA's tax ID.  And there were a lot of questions about how she solicited funding for it, using her council letterhead, etc.

You can read Auditor Phil's report; he get's to the bottom of it...very thorough.

(Phil Wood is also running this cycle, by the way.  The guy seems pretty dang sharp to me).

Thanks. I was too lazy to research it myself, but I thought it was something along those lines.

Falling is the Ann Coulter of Tulsa politics with the personality of a piranha.

Take it easy on Burns. He is so smart, he just slips off the scale. He brought in an ad to run for office once when I worked in advertising at the World. It was extremely neat, camera ready and totally unrecognizable as language to anyone but himself. We held the ad a day just to figure out if it was ethical to take his money and to determine if it was offensive. A family member came to the office and told us to go ahead and run it but to please keep them informed.

He was a friendly guy, just not of this world.

"Taylor for Congress"

Dear Editor:

Redneck Oklahoma has never had a female U.S. Senator and had only two Congresswomen, Alice Mary Robertson (1920-22) and Mary Fallin (2006-present).

This taxation without representation for Okie women is the pits.

Fallin is giving up her seat to run for governor and that could leave us with a stag-party Congressional delegation, again.

Because we, women, are 51 percent of the U.S. population, we deserve half of all legislative bodies.

So, this feminist granny suggests drafting Tulsa retiring Democratic mayor, Kathy Taylor, to run against my Republican Congressman, John Sullivan, currently rehabbing at the Betty Ford clinic for alcoholics.

Here's why Taylor would be a good Congresswoman:

1. She has her own jet plane to fly back and forth to the nation's capital.

2. She has the do-re-me to fund a million-dollar campaign just like she did when she ran for mayor.

3. She learned state government when she was a member of Gov. Brad Henry's cabinet.

4. She mastered city and county government in four years at City Hall.

5. She supported Barack Obama for president so that will give her back-door access to the White House.

6. She has a mansion worthy of a Congressional "hostess with the mostest."

7. She has demonstrated to city and county official that she has the quality possessed by great members of Congress--a mean streak.

Run, Kathy, run.

Love Always,

Virginia Blue Jeans Jenner, Wagoner"

Might explain why she doesn't run for city office anymore, she's no longer a Tulsa citizen.

She may be focusing on Senator. Congress is too proletariat.

Huh. That is weird.  A local 'blogger' covered the Falling campaign announcement but not the Medlock conference.  Here are some pics from flickr: http://www.flickr.com/search/?s=rec&w=all&q=annafalling+tulsa&m=tags (http://www.flickr.com/search/?s=rec&w=all&q=annafalling+tulsa&m=tags)

Looks like she has The Big Mo.  Lot more people there, something going down as she speaks in the background.  And the support of Tulsa Bloggers!! Wow! She is on far!
