Title: Cap & Trade
Post by: Gaspar on June 09, 2009, 10:46:55 AM
Today the Congressional Budget Office issued a cost estimate for the Cap & Trade bill (http://www.washingtonwatch.com/bills/show/111_HR_2454.html).

The estimated cost of the bill is about $12,000 per U.S. family. It's the most costly bill in the current Congress.

Ex-freekin-zactly what we need.

Here's a list of 38,000 or so scientists who have signed a petition questioning or disavowing "global warming"

Interesting read for you reality deniers:

How did we get rid of global cooling in the 70's? Maybe we could use the reverse of that method.  Was it cheaper than getting rid of global warming has been?

Cutting particulate emissions, mainly. I suppose we could pump more smile into the atmosphere. Sure, we won't be able to breathe, but at least the warming will slow!
