I hoping that one of you can help me with something. A friend of mine and I were discussing another friend that lived behind Eton Square area and there was a community center of sorts with a pool and tennis courts I think. We could not remember the name of it but I foubd it on Google Crack,...er, um, Earth.
Do any of you remember this place or are my friend and I having an out of mind experience?

No clue, but apparently it was "Explorer Park."

I know a guy who has been up there once or twice with a date he needed to impress. Incredible view of the city.
The space is for sale. It's a hill in that neighborhood...the highest peak. Apparently it was wiped out by a tornado once upon a time. I had a friend who works for a title and abstract co. look it up.
You can get to it by driving down...56th? Whatever it is, it's the turn in across from Cowboy Sharkies. Look to your left as you drive down the street and there's a road leading up between two houses. There's a gate/fence there that is very easily climbed through...I've heard.
I used to go up there in high school to down beers with my friends. It's a cool spot, but the cops started coming up there so we quit going. The gate was not there for a long time.
