Notwithstanding the double entendre, Obama has been president a whopping 17 days and his staff is already worn out. What a bunch of wusses.
http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2009/02/obama_says_staff_is_worn_out_w.html
This guy is also commander in chief of the military. I wonder how our fighting men and women in harm's way feel about their new boss and/or his staff being "worn out" as a result of negotiating a spending bill.
Your becoming one of those things they call trolls. Apparently you don't have a real life or real business to attend to. Have you ever thought about doing your own investigations instead of just pete repeteing something someone else posted? I will be impressed only when you have something NEW and ORIGINAL to say. Otherwise, oh never mind.

Great response. [}:)]. My real business is helping pass the stimulus bill, and I am just worn out. And incidentally, I am not interested in impressing you or any other Obama lover. Obama is content to have our grandchildren paying off our debt from this plan and he is complaining about how tired his staff is? If we ever get attacked again, can we expect this same kind of complaining of exhaustion while we debate how we respond? The fact is this guy is still campaigning and not leading. HE should have drafted this stimulus package, not Pelosi and other liberal pork barrellers.
As far as my own research, pick a subject smart guy.
In other news: Where's the outrage that Obama doesn't care about poor white spam-sucking hilljacks freezing in trailers in Kentucky?
Ten days later and he's still not visited the disaster area. For shame. Someone get Brownie on the phone.
I will take "What bitter, sore loser Republicans say" for $500, Alex...
Maybe guido ought to put "TDOF" on his clown shoes.

I'd laugh at that, but Guido has me on ignore. That's real adult. Don't like what people say, you just ignore 'em. Kinda like Bush 43 did.
[:O]
If I thought the US was losing 500 Million jobs a month, I'd work until I was worn out too. I'd be afraid of being part of the 166% of the population getting laid off this month.
Bush says "It is hard work".

Yes, nobody ever misspeaks a unit. I mean, my boss (or anybody else) has never said "megabyte" when he really meant "gigabyte" or vice versa.

One of my best friends has always said never to let politics come between us, right up to the point where his beliefs are under fire. Just kidding. He is a union card carrying, life long democrat. I am not.

Umm.. You are aware that their is a difference between the President and the Speaker? Also I would like to point out that million is actually a word. So you have to give her credit for not completely making up words. Like Millijob drop or Milliployment decrease.

Umm. Since "thousand" is also a word, I will give Obama credit for the 10,000 people killed in Kansas tornado gem:

As for completely made up words, how are those Penn State "Nittaly" Lions doing?

The point I am making is the double standard applied to dems when they gaffe it up. Heck, Biden screws up all the time and the press treat it like "oh, that's just Joe!"

Fair enough.
However, Obama graduated with honors and has proven himself to be a smart guy. So any slip of the tongue is pretty much that and nothing else. People will cut him slack because he's demonstrably intelligent.
But President Bush was well-established as a below-average student, intellectually incurious and 20-year substance abuser to boot. So when he slips up, you can plausibly cite that as him being a meathead or, worse, brain-damaged from all the drugs and booze he gobbled for decades.
One is not the same as the other.

By that logic, I guess Obama's banging his head on the helicopter door today and trying to enter the white house through a window a few weeks ago was a result of his cocaine and marijuana use.

C'mon, guido, you're smarter than that. You're not even trying.
By all accounts, Obama's drug usage lasted all of six months and was described as "dabbling." Heck, even close friends were shocked by this revelation ("I didn't know he was using"). Such short-term, minor drug usage will cause minimal brain damage, if at all. And he straightened himself up quickly and graduated with honors from Harvard.
Meanwhile, George W. Bush by his own admission was an alcoholic until at least age 40. The stories abound of him abusing narcotics for years. You cannot reasonably expect that such substance abuse wouldn't have long-term psychological and physical effects on the brain. Such problems are well-established by medical studies.
Add in that Bush was below-average intelligence compared to Obama's demonstrably above-average intelligence, and you figure out why people might think a slip of the tongue by Bush is a lot more than just a simple mistake.
That was one of my concerns when Bush was elected in 2000 -- that because of his long-term substance abuse and his mediocre intelligence, he wouldn't be up for the job.
Maybe Bush wasn't worn out at this point in his Presidency because they had cocaine free flowing around the whitehouse?
Damn. I think I'm on the ignore list, too.
Hmmm... maybe another Jeopardy reference puts me on ignore... characterizing Barack Obama as some sort of dummy or bumbling fool???... good luck with that, Guido... "I will take Tilting at Windmills for $600"... ooh, thatsa daily double... thatsa gonna leave a mark...

Actually, it's kinda nice. Feels a little like an ad-hominem free zone now.
But I contend it's juvenile. Same as putting your fingers in your ear and yelling 'nananananana I can't hear you nanananana'.
The problem with cr*p like this is that Republicans are like sharks. They never sleep. They will stay on message and shovel this garbage until we are so tired of the garbage that we begin to associate it with Obama.
That's what pmcalk was referring to when she would talk about the Clintons' luggage. It's not their luggage, it's Republican luggage that through repetition becomes associated with its target.
I say Obama surrogates need to stay in campaign mode and shovel back load after load of cr*p to deflect attacks on our president. Forget about playing fair. Let's bury the Republicans. Let's see if we can finish them off.

Yeah, because that typical UK journalistic mentality and its 'sources close to the White House' are going to bask in their journalistic integrity every time. There's a reason it's called
The TorygraphOr maybe it's just sour grapes with the UK Press?
