I was surfing a few of the local TV forums...and saw that a simple Barak Obama avatar got folks all fired up. Which sparked a new thread...who are you voting for?
This particular forum seems to draw a more diverse crowd..so I was curious about opinions. I have no desire to start a war..simply a good sparring match.
Enjoy
My vote in the OK primary went to Obama, and my vote in the November general election will also go to Obama.
I have voted for every democrat presidential nominee since Jimmy Carter. I will again.
I kinda liked McCain until he changed to run for president this time. He seems to have abandonded most of his previous positions to sway the base of the republican party. He didn't really have a chance to earn my vote because of his stance on the war and on nuclear energy. But now the liberal things I liked about him are gone as well.
I voted for Hillary in the primary, and will probably vote for Obama. I may not be wild about Obama, but I strongly dislike McCain.
I knew there was a reason I liked this forum. I too will be voting for Barak. I just believe that after 8 years, we need a change. I hope that he really does prove to unite us like so many are saying. (JFK like)
Good Times.
OK, I'll break the Obama chain.
I don't really like anyone again so I won't be voting FOR anyone. I will be voting against Obama.
Obama
Vote for real change not chump change.
None of the above.
I'll probably write in Ron Paul
Surprise! Obama.
Obama.
I'm gonna put up a yard sign and everything [:D]
Obama!
Bob Barr. He's the libertarian candidate; if you hate the two front runners as much as I do, you might consider him rather than trying to pick between the lesser of two evils. Or you could always write in Ron Paul [8D]

did Barr get on the ballot in OK? Last I heard this backwards state was the last holdout.
If he did that's where my vote will go.
In Oklahoma I hear you aren't suppose to reveal those things.....
Charles Darwin said,
"It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
I have never voted for a Democratic Presidential Candidate in my life. Don't see a reason to start now. I'll voting for John McCain.
I will proudly vote for Obama!
3rd party if given the chance. Damn the man.
I'm rockin' Barack.
Count me as another "not voting for anyone, but voting against Obama."
I like having guns, paychecks and lenders willing to mortgage me a house without 50% down.
Voting for Obama
oBAM!a
Logic dictates that I will have to vote for McCain.
I live in a country founded by bitter men and women who cling to guns and religion. Now it is populated by those who have forgotten the lessons of the past. Everyone wants to live at the expense of the state, and they forget that the state lives at their expense. They attempt to wield government like a sword, foolishly believing that they can punish others without wounding themselves.
Americans have become so enamoured of equality they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom. – Alexis de Tocqueville
Private enterprise creates; government destroys. That is the great economic lesson of our times and all times. – Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.
"The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then gets elected and proves it."
P. J. ORourke
I will be voting for McCain, I was seriously considering Obama until a couple of supreme court decisions reinforced how important it is that we have our rights protected. The gun ruling in particular has sent me over the edge. That should have been a 7-2 or 8-1 decision and if any of the jokers could read it would have been a 9-0 decision. 5 to 4 is way too close, you start taking away the second amendment or the first amendment and thats it, stick a fork in us we're done.
I just hope McCain picks a decent running mate and not some tard like Huckabee.

I have to agree, this nation needs a wake up call as do both political parties which are so hypocritical in their actions and words that its disturbing. We the people are left two inadequate and poor choices to lead this country through some upcoming tumultous times.
Obama
+1 for Obama

Oklahoma ballots don't allow you to write in a candidate. You're going to have to choose.
My vote goes to McCain.
Obama
Barack Obama has had my vote for many months now.

Gaspar, thanks for helping me make up my mind. I think I'll vote for Obama now, just to cancel out your vote.
Without a doubt McCain....although he isn't the ideal candidate...he blows bho out the water

I voted for Gerald Ford in 1976, the first presidential election I was eligible to vote in. Since then, like you, I have voted for every Democrat nominee, and will do so in 2008.
