Title: Tim Russert Dies
Post by: TulsaFan-inTexas on June 13, 2008, 04:01:55 PM
I think regardless of your political leanings, Tim Russert was a pretty likeable person and tried his best to be bipartisan. Sadly, today he died of a heart attack at the age of 58.

Rest in peace Mr. Russert, and my best wishes go out to your family.

I always hate to see a well known person that is not very old and seemingly in good health die.  I can't claim any altruism in my despair, but he seemed to be in good health and then just died, so...

My sympathies to his family.

he spoke at the Tulsa PAC last year.  I had won tickets for the event, and took my father. I enjoyed listening to him talk about many things including sports, politics, funny stories, his father, etc etc.  He was well educated, likable, and down to earth.  RIP Mr Russert.  You will be missed.

I heard on the radio that on April 29th Tim just passed his physical & a heart stress test. He loved his job but he did have alot of stress and show deadline pressures  and like that,- he most likely did not eat healthy meals because of time shortness, just grab a quite bite here and there as he ran around getting his show ready. He had a high stress-pressure job. That may of played a part in his young age death.

I would agree.  I am not a medical dr by any strech of the imagination, but just coming back from a vacation to Italy with your family, one would think he would have been well rested and relaxed.  None the less, we will miss your devotion to your family, faith, friends, and all the people you touched around the country.  Go Bills.
