Hi everyone,
I'm with the Tulsa Black Widows, Tulsa's one and only women's tackle football team. We are members of the Women's Professional Football League (the WPFL) and we will start our first season in late July. We are trying to get information to the people of Tulsa that we are here!
We play real tackle football, using NFL rules. This is not powder-puff! We will be playing Dallas, Houston and Minnesota at home this season and possibly St. Louis. Our Schedule will be released in the next couple of weeks.
We will be hosting our final 2006 open tryout on April 22nd from 2pm-5pm. Everyone is invited to come out and watch! If you know any women 18 or older that would want to play real tackle football, please send them our way! The tryouts will be at Johnson Park, 61st & Riverside.
We are also looking for coaches, trainers, and sponsors!
