Hi Joe, I'll ask you the same question I asked at the ITS forum:

Describe where your place is at to me.  I admit to being too lazy to look up the location of a plug.

I need to find a Sports Bar in Midtown.  Reopen Hardwoods!

I didn't realize that, too bad. At least it looks like a nice chain.

I REALLY wish we had a nice midtown sports bar.  Hardwoods kept getting close to not sucking, and even broke through a couple times... if only for a moment, before closing again.  I need somewhere to watch TU games, dang it.  Don't make me drink alone... err, watch football alone.

Fox & Hound on 71st and Garnett is a chain... but there was a standing room only crowd of TU fans in the main area for TU-Houston last year...

Fox and Hound is one I KNEW was a chain but it never really feels that way.  I guess they do a good job.

But anyway, 71st and Garnet is no where near midtown.  I cannot believe in all of the bars on Cherry Street, Downtown and Brookside that there is not a sports bar.  What gives?

There is a difference between a Chain with managers and a franchise with a local Owner/Operator. You will find the operations always run much better with the guy who buys it and operates it.

I will give your place a chance.

Do you have free wifi so I can follow my fantasy leagues on Sundays?

Tonight, I am going to the Tulsa Packer Backers tailgate party at 71st and Trenton. The party starts at 5pm and the game is inside the hotel bar starting at 7pm.
