Title: Earl Clark
Post by: DolfanBob on June 29, 2010, 07:03:20 am
Sad to hear about one of Tulsa's best Jazz musicians passing away yesterday.
Earl Clark was 58. He died doing what he loved, playing music.

RIP Earl.  Truly a legend on the horns and no idea how many times I got to enjoy him play around town over the years.

He played "When The Saints Come Marching In" at a friend's funeral close to 20 years ago and there was not a dry eye in the place when he was done.  He could really move a room with that sax.
