For all you green buildng sustainable design nerds out there, check out this awesome new show:

The second episode with architect/activist Sergio Palleroni is must see T.V. I hope the higher education programs like the OU Urban Design Studio adopt some of the teaching methods used by Palleroni at the University of Texas. The innovative design approaches this program used towards existing alleys in blighted East Austin neighborhoods helped to turn these neighborhoods around while creating more density without destroying the diverse existing cultural or economic demographics of the area, otherwise known as gentrification by economic segregation. These practices could easily translate to struggling parts of Midtown and North Tulsa with existing problem alleyways while providing new rental income for current homeowners and new, affordable, sustainable,  residential, infill.
