Since Rowdy and RM seem excited about QT food, and I eat a decent amount myself, anyone else eat there and have some favorites?

And no, I don't need a discourse on how unhealthy it is or how it's bringing down society.

Their nasty little sausage, egg & cheese biscuit thing is a guilty pleasure of mine...

My favorite Quik-Trip item is skim milk. My family goes through a lot of it. It is the only convenience store that carries it that I know of.

They also have it at a better price than any where else and because I check expiration dates, I know it is fresher than almost any store I know of.

The interesting thing is that I get charged a different price every time I buy it. The clerks overcharge me almost half of the time. I buy it from all over town and I have to correct them.

Beef Taquitos!

The Breakfast Burritos were great until they made them smaller and packed the burritos full of pepper gravy.

QT, Please bring back the old yellow-wrapped large breakfast burritos!

everyone here who posted about "good food" from QT is hereby revoked from suggesting good food, restaurants, etc.

Best food and QT are mutually exclusive.

I'd eat a lettuce and green onion salad from Taco Bell before getting a taquito from QT.

As your doctor, I recommend a diet high in preservatives.

There are two kinds of preservatives...anti-microbial preservatives which function by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and fungi, and antioxidants such as oxygen absorbers, which inhibit the oxidation of food constituents.

We know that antioxidants are good for health, but my medical theory is that microbial preservatives would also slow down a virus in humans, specifically bacteria and fungi that would lead to the cold and flu.

Quik-Trip sandwiches are filled with preservatives, as are hot dogs.

As your doctor, if you have some sniffles, go eat a Quik-Trip sandwich. If you already have a cold, chase it with one of their 99 cent hot dogs.

If it is severe, (like the avian flu) add a frozen pizza and call me in the morning.

It's all relative. Like "good candiate for office."

Their freezonies are not bad either, even though they're sometimes not sufficiently frozen.

Much cheaper than a starbucks frap.

And, I realize they're not food per se, but I guess it's all relative.
