The Charter says “the Mayor shall be the chief executive and administrative officer of the city.”  (Which by his record of leadership has shown a lacking of the fundamentals needed to be our CEO)

Brian Barber, writing under his byline in the Tulsa World writes “Tulsa Chief Administrative Officer Sam Roop said Mayor Bill LaFortune won’t agree to an ordinance that doesn’t pass muster with the city attorney”

The city manager form of government was submitted to the voter some year’s back and it failed.  Has there been another vote on changing the form of government taken from the people or has the change been formulated in the back rooms of city hall?  Should not the working poor, that are feeding the city coffers, stand up and be counted?  Does all the smoke and mirrors signal the characteristic for a change in the form of government again?

Are we watching a complete takeover of our local republic democracy?

Who will we depend on to enforce the rules if we were to have an ethics ordinance?  The same Fox watching the hen house now?

Tomorrow we will enter into the plea to have it torn away.
