Here is some interesting information about some of my friends family from Beaumont. They evacuated Thursday and drove all day and night trying to find a hotel. They came upon the Oklahoma border and were told that they could not enter unless they had an address and phone number of where they were going or a hotel confirmation! They were told this by a OHP officer at the Oklahoma border. Fustrated they turned around and went to Dallas. They did eventually find a place but I could not believe what they were told by the OHP officer. Has anyone else heard of this?
