The following link from 7/13/14 TW takes us to http://www.tulsaworld.com/uploaded_photos/sc-people/image_0d4363dd-cea1-5a85-b475-390fb8bc2915.html  where the scion of Tulsa's 1% is found sporting natty threads (don't miss the shoes) possibly derived from Brooks Brothers Gatsby collection: http://www.brooksbrothers.com/The-Great-Gatsby-Collection/mens-the-great-gatsby,default,sc.html?pmin=1&start=24&sz=24  The only thing lacking in the photo to make the ensemble complete is a boater hat--though the insouciant grin is perhaps more suggestive of Bertie Wooster than Jay Gatsby.   Sleep well O Prince of Industry (inherited), Dream not of the Bastille,...

I don’t share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

I don't resent them. $698 shoes and playing the parts of a novel based on wealth disparity and greed that the real world is currently re-living, makes their lives seem more like a boring screenplay than reality. Bastille day should be a life lesson and warning but probably means nothing to them. As dreary, futile and oppressive as the real world can be, it feels more secure than theirs and I prefer it.
