Planners to Hear Top Speakers on Design Guidelines, Public Art, Charrettes, and Online Techniques for Collaboration

The Oklahoma Chapter of the American Planning Association is pleased to announce that its 2009 Conference, “Jazzed About Planning,” (October 15, at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame), will feature several national speakers.  Among the speakers are Carol Barrett, AICP, California, speaking on Planning Ethics; Michael Birkes, AIA, Tulsa, discussing Charrettes for Community Planning; David Beach, AIA, Springfield, Missouri, focusing on Online Techniques for Collaboration; Rebecca Leonard, AICP, Austin, Texas, speaking on Design Guidelines.  In addition, there will be several area speakers highlighting planning activities in the Tulsa area.

The OKAPA Conference is designed for planners but anyone with an interest is welcome to register and attend.
