The TulsaWorld did it to a site in a "Dear Amy" column. To me it is a minor case of fraud by editing other people's columns and press releases. It's just the TulsaWorld trying to hype up their website hits by making everyone who wants to go anywhere, got to TulsaWorld.com first. I hope they don't do a story on the "http://www.tulsaworld.com/tulsanow/forums."

I am happy about the NBA game, though.

It's annoying, but I suspect they do it to see what outbound links readers are clicking.

I might add that the Areema folks ought to consider doing a free show to get the acoustics straight BEFORE a big name comes there. Expensive ducat holders don't wish to be subjected to engineers calibrating the sound in a first run untried big room full of people with their guitar heroes serving as muted guinea pigs.
