Right now, I'm reading Timothy Egan's "The Worst Hard Time." It's a history of the Dust Bowl in the 1930s, which obviously includes Oklahoma. The book was published this year, and it's the book about that catastrophe that I've been looking for for years.

You can get it at the Tulsa Library if you can't afford to buy it. That's where I got mine.
