Hey Patric, this is kinda off the subject but, are these good lights?

It depends on what you want the lights to do (a question I wish more architects would ask).
I might use them if I were in a nature preserve and absolutely had to have an area illuminated 24/7 for human use, or at the gate of a ranch that is used throughout the night, or to mark a remote stairway, human navigation hazard, or emergency call box where power lines are impractical -- but probably not for a driveway light in Tulsa or a nightclub parking lot.
Visually, it might be a better substitute for the typical "farm light" (what PSO calls a "security light") because the source is better shielded -- if you dont mind monochromatic color rendering. (This is
Low Pressure sodium -- completely yellow -- as opposed to
High Pressure Sodium that you see on most street corners which produces a golden-orange glow and allows you to distinguish colors. LPS is mostly for use around observatories, parks, etc.)
What application did you have in mind?
