I was thinking about giving up lentils for Lent, but then I thought it might be more effective to give up Catholicism.

I lent my neighbor some flour, and got some cookies in return.

That's good lenting.

I gave up smoking about a week and a half ago...that's all I'm willing to do for the moment.

Stick with it.  I'm 14 months nicotine-free and loving not being a slave to it any more.

Now you're just a slave to Eric Marshall's joyful elixir.

Yeah, but last I checked Eric Marshall's brews don't kill you of cancer...

Wow, that looks a little like a fat Gillian Anderson in green make-up.  Couldn't you have done a little better than that?  Maybe Rebecca Romijn in the X-Men?

[Cheesy]

I also saw a guy at the hockey game wearing a Marshall Brewery hockey sweater and found out he's sponsoring a Men's League team that a buddy of mine plays on.  Pretty nifty sweaters.

I've given up being nice to people. Everybody'd better watch out for the next 40 days.
